Kevin Birusingh, MD
Physician
Dr. Birusingh was born and raised in western Iowa. He was drawn to urology because of the broad scope of procedures performed and the lifelong relationships formed with patients.
Dr. Birusingh received his medical degree from the Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa in 2007 and completed his residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2013. Dr. Birusingh has practiced in Des Moines since 2013. He is board-certified in urology.
Dr. Birusingh has lived in Des Moines with his two daughters since finishing his residency in 2013. They love spending time together as a family.
McCabe Kenny, MD
Physician
Dr. Kenny grew up in Osage, Iowa, and after training outside the state, he is delighted to be back and call Des Moines home. Dr. Kenny enjoys educating patients on their condition and treatment options. He believes strongly in shared decision-making and empowering patients to be involved in their care.
Dr. Kenny received his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine in 2011 and completed his residency training at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 2017. Dr. Kenny has practiced in Des Moines since 2017. He is board-certified in urology.
In his free time, he enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, spending time with his wife and two daughters, and supporting the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Mark Kellerman, MD
Physician
Dr. Kellerman is a proud Iowa native who has practiced in Des Moines since 2003. He was instrumental in the development of robotic urology surgery (Da Vinci) in Central Iowa.
Dr. Kellerman received his medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in 1997 and completed his residency training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2003. He is board certified in urology.
Dr. Kellerman is married with two daughters. He is an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. He enjoys playing music, golfing, and spending time with family and friends at the lake.
Ryan Schulte, MD
Physician
Dr. Schulte received his medical degree from the Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa in 2003 and completed his residency training at the University of Michigan in 2009. Dr. Schulte has practiced in Des Moines since 2009. He is board certified in urology.
When he’s not working, Dr. Schulte enjoys running, bicycling, hiking and cheering on his children’s sports teams, traveling and taking part in medical mission trips.
Jacob Jipp, MD
Physician
Dr. Jipp was born and raised in Bettendorf, IA. After completing his medical training, he is very excited to return to his home state. He was drawn to the field of urology because of the wide breadth of conditions treated and the significant impact that can be made on a patient’s quality of life. He strives to make sure every patient leaves his office feeling empowered and informed about their condition and treatment decisions.
He received his medical degree from the Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa in 2016, where he served as Student Body President. He completed his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI.
He is married and is a proud father of three daughters. In his freetime, he enjoys woodworking, Iowa Hawkeye sports, and golfing.
Nicholas Parker, MD
Dr. Parker grew up in Cherokee, Iowa and attended the University of Iowa for his undergraduate studies. He then received his medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in 2019, thereafter completing his Urologic residency at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ, in 2024. He is excited to return home to Iowa to begin his practice and raise his family. He is board-certified in Urology.
He was drawn to Urology for the unique blend of medical and surgical treatments that the field offers. Urology has always been at the forefront of medical technology and innovation, which further garnered his attention, allowing him to utilize cutting-edge technology in treatment to improve patient care. Dr. Parker is a dedicated and compassionate Urologist committed to personalized care for his patients and believes in empowering patients with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their health. He looks forward to building relationships with his patients and making a difference in their lives through high-quality care.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, golfing, running, and traveling.

Taylor Whitt, DNP

Taylor is an Iowa native, born and raised. He completed a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Iowa. He spent five years working as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit and emergency department before graduating from Creighton University with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner degree in May of 2020.
Taylor was drawn to urology by the range of conditions treated and the opportunity to improve patients' quality of life with treatment. He enjoys educating patients on their condition and treatment options. He believes in shared decision-making and empowering patients to be involved in their care.
Outside of work, Taylor is a man of strong Christian faith and a committed husband and father. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is an avid fan of the Hawkeye football and wrestling teams and Kentucky basketball. Taylor also enjoys engaging in outdoor activities and smoking meat.
Marc Goeders, PA-C

Marc originally hails from Manson, Iowa, and brings over 20 years of experience as a Physician Assistant practicing in central Iowa. Having spent time working in Family Medicine, Vascular Surgery, as well as Orthopaedic Surgery over the years, he chose Urology because of the wide range of conditions and the diverse patient population that is Urology.
When Marc is not in the clinic he enjoys trying new restaurants with his wife, attending concerts with his 2 sons, trips to Colorado, grilling, DIY projects, and his dogs Wallie and Winston. He can also be found cheering for Iowa State Athletics and is a lifelong Los Angeles Rams fan.
Marc graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. in Biology and completed his PA studies at Des Moines University. He is a member of the American Urological Association.
Brian Gallagher, MD
Physician
Dr. Gallagher was born and raised in Iowa and is proud to call Central Iowa home. He is excited for the opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality urological care to the patients of the community.
Dr. Gallagher received his medical degree and residency training from the Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa in 2003 and 2009, respectively. Dr. Gallagher has practiced in Des Moines since 2009. He is board certified in urology.
Dr. Gallagher is a husband and father to three great children. The majority of his time outside of work is spent supporting his kids as they participate in the things they love and fostering their growth and development.
Richard Glowacki, MD
Physician
Dr. Glowacki received his medical degree from the Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa in 1995 and completed his residency training at the University of Nebraska in 2001. Dr. Glowacki has practiced in Des Moines since 2001. He is board certified in urology.
Trevor Wild, MD
Physician
Dr. Wild was born and raised in Des Moines. He knew he wanted to be a physician since high school. After finishing his residency in Colorado, he is very excited to return home and raise his family in the great state of Iowa.
Dr. Wild received his medical degree from the Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa in 2012 and completed residency training at the University of Colorado in 2018. Dr. Wild has practiced in Des Moines since 2018. He is board certified in urology.
Outside of work, Dr. Wild enjoys spending time outdoors, supporting the performing arts, cheering on New England sports teams and the Hawkeyes, and attending the many activities of his two young children.
Stephanie Pothoven, DO, FACOS

Dr. Pothoven was born and raised in Belmond, IA. She was excited to return to Iowa after completing her residency training in Michigan to begin her practice and raise her family. She was drawn to urology by the wide spectrum of urologic conditions and balance between clinical and surgical medicine. She recognizes that each patient is unique and enjoys helping patients to understand their diagnoses and individualizing their care.
Dr. Pothoven received her medical degree from Des Moines University in 2001 and completed her residency training at Michigan State University, POH Regional Medical Center in 2007. Dr. Pothoven has practiced in Des Moines since 2007. She is board certified in urology. She also serves as an adjunct professor at Des Moines University and has enjoyed educating the medical students and physician assistant students about urologic disease since 2009.
When not in clinic or surgery, Dr. Pothoven enjoys running, playing music, and spending time with her husband and 2 children.
Ryan Dornbier, MD
Physician
Dr. Dornbier was raised in the Des Moines area. He received his Undergraduate and Medical Degrees at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO. He completed his Urologic Residency training at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Following residency, he completed specialty training in Male Genitourinary Reconstruction and Men’s Health, also at Loyola University Medical Center. He and wife are excited to return home to Iowa to begin practice and raise their children.
Dr. Dornbier treats all aspects of urology with a specialty focus on urethral stricture disease, erectile dysfunction, male urinary incontinence, BPH and prostate cancer survivorship. He was drawn to Urology by the wide diversity of conditions and opportunity to help patients improve their quality of life with treatment.
Outside of urology, Dr. Dornbier enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, soccer, golf, traveling, and cooking.
Marcy Covert, FNP-C

Marcy Covert was born and raised in western Iowa. Marcy received her nursing degree from Mercy College in Des Moines, Iowa. She worked as a urology nurse for 5 years before pursuing her advanced training. Marcy received her Master’s in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner
degree in 2021 from Purdue University Global.
Marcy was drawn to Urology by the wide range of conditions. Marcy specializes in women’s health and likes to develop patient-specific treatment plans. She also enjoys educating patients on their diagnosis and really understanding their health to improve their quality of life.
Marcy lives in Waukee with her husband and two daughters. Outside of work, Marcy loves spending time with her daughters, friends, and family. She also loves her coffee.
Vilma Bramasco, NP
NP
Vilma was born in California and grew up in Southeast Iowa. She received both her undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees from Purdue University. Over the past two years, she has held the positions of both Director and Primary Care Provider for a grant-funded health program that serves migrant farmworkers and their families.
She currently resides in Norwalk with her family and their two dachshunds. In herfree time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family.
