Kim Hokinson, NP

Kim Hokinson was born and raised in northwest Iowa. She earned her Master’s degree from Morningside University in 2022.  Prior to specializing in urology, Kim worked in nephrology and internal medicine in Sioux City, Iowa, where she gained valuable experience managing complex and chronic medical conditions. She chose to pursue a career in urology because of the wide variety of conditions that can be treated within the specialty. She values the opportunity to educate patients about their diagnosis and is passionate about empowering them to actively participate in the decision-making process regarding their care.

Summer is her favorite season, and she enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends. Her interests include exploring new bike trails, kayaking, boating, hiking, and  caring for her many indoor houseplants.
