Karman Pflughaupt, NP

Karman Pflughaupt was born and raised in Ames, Iowa. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa, and Doctorate of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

Karman chose urology because she enjoys the blend of chronic disease management and meaningful quality-of-life improvement for patients. She was drawn to Urology Center of Iowa because of its team culture, commitment to patient-centered care, and dedication to clinical excellence.

Outside of work, Karman enjoys prioritizing meaningful time with her husband and two daughters. Whether it is a quiet evening at home or a busy weekend, she values being present and making memories together.
